Terminal Orbit

You awaken in the flickering shadows of a ruined cryosleep chamber aboard Astralis-7, a research station long abandoned in orbit over the desolate world of Virex-9. The noise from machines is gone, replaced by silence, static, and a fractured voice over the intercom: “Cryosleep protocol terminated… Threat… detected…” Your memories are fractured. The mission? Sometimes you realize something stirs in your mind, whispers of alien artifacts, of a crew driven to madness, and of a power that should have never been unearthed. Now, with the station falling apart and the line between hallucination and reality blurring, one question haunts you: Did something wake you… or someone?
